Shirley’s cabaret sails through many decades of life’s rubbish as a Siren on the rocks!

What audience and press are saying about Shirley Knot:
‘This show is about a journey that starts with not fitting in, how her parents tried to get her to fit and how she ended up doing something she was good at but didn’t enjoy. It’s all linked together through songs, shows tunes, comic songs and opera. What is remarkable is Shirley’s voice. Powerful, emotive and clear. From the first notes of the first song …’ – Joe Angella – Fringe Review
‘Debbie’s background in music was apparent during this show with her Julie Andrews like timbre, making us in awe one minute than laughing the next with her clever parody lyrics.’ – Emma Gilmore – the Ems
‘What a great night.’ – Murray Hecht
‘Loved it! Charming.’ – Adrian Jameson
‘Love it, Debbie’ – Debi Jones Maas
‘Go Shirley, Love it. Fin’ling good’ – Nicholas Quirke

ishing for a new Cabaret?
Shirley Knot (aka Debbie Bridge), the Siren, will be heading to the Alma Theatre in Bristol, BS8 2HY to bring you her latest one woman musical comedy cabaret show, Shirley Knot the Siren.
This gal is from New York, bringing you some of her New York antics in classic cabaret style, but with a slight operatic twist.
Shirley finds herself “Washed Up” on the shores of England all the way from New York and laments at the trials of being a middle age female siren among the young mermaids: excess blubber, sea fog and the feeling of becoming invisible.
She'll have you laughing out loud one minute and nodding your head in empathy the next, as she takes you on a journey of songs and jokes.
