More Information:
This comedy play, written by Ashley Burgoyne, will be directed by Sue Smith. This is a well observed and character driven play, full of humour with many amusing moments and a good plot. It is written for 4 males and 5 females from late teens/twenties through to seventies and tells the tale of two English villages vying with each other to win the coveted “Village Games” trophy with all the amusing skulduggery that entails. Thrown into the mix is the local drama teacher’s determination to get her own play produced, so she starts an Amateur Theatre Group.
Performances will take place at Christ the King Church Hall in Castle Street, Thornbury from 11th to 14th June 2025 and rehearsals will start on 12th March at the same venue.
