Win with Thornbury Radio and Tockington Manor School this Easter!

Tockington Manor School founded in 1947, is offering you the chance to one of their Easter Holiday masterclasses, Multi-activity days or workshops. 

Taking place in the the April holidays, they’ve got a 2 day Cricket masterclass, a 2 day Swim Camp and a 2 day Performing Arts Workshop – each happening at the school down in Tockington. There are also Multi-activity days where you can take part in art or sport or other fun activities. 

(Please note that age restrictions apply and that the dates for the Performing Arts Workshops are before state schools start their Easter holiday).

The competition winner will get a voucher for £120 which allows them to book onto either a 2 day masterclass/workshop or a number of individual days on the Easter Multi-activity Holiday Clubs. Have a look at their website if you want to find out more!

Easter Multi-Activity Courses - Ages 5 - 13 years

31st Mar - 17th Apr (Mondays – Fridays)

We are excited to partner with 'Proformance Coaching' to provide a fun filled week, consisting of sport, art and everything in between. These sessions will be tailored to age appropriate groups. With different activities every day, there will be something for everyone!

Parents can choose from sport activity days or multi-activity days – or mix and match the days they need. Book one day – or put them in for the whole holiday!

Performing Arts Workshop (5-8 years) 

31st March - 1st April

We are very excited to offer a fun and dynamic two-day workshop for children aged 5 - 8 to explore the magic of theatre! For our Rising Stars, we dive into the world of Matilda, where students will develop foundational performance skills like vocal expression, basic dance steps, and imaginative acting. Through fun and interactive activities, they'll learn how to use their voices with clear enunciation, explore rhythm and movement in dance, and express emotions through creative role-play. These budding performers will also explore the art of physicality in acting, learning how to use their body to tell a story and enhance their performances. With dedicated attention to improving technique and confidence, students will build essential professional skills in singing and acting.

Performing Arts Workshop (9-13 years)

3rd April - 4th April

We are excited to offer a fun and dynamic two-day workshop for children to explore the magic of theatre! The Shooting Stars, for children aged 9-13, journeys through the enchanting musical Wicked, focusing on advanced techniques, including vocal projection, character development, stage presence, and choreography. These budding performers will also explore the art of physicality in acting, learning how to use their body to tell a story and enhance their performances. With dedicated attention to improving technique and confidence, students will build essential professional skills in singing, dance and drama. It's the perfect way to unleash their inner star!

Cricket Masterclass Ages 8-13

8th April - 9th April

Could you be the next Joe Root or Viv Richards? Using county standard cricket facilities at Tockington Manor School, situated in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, our dedicated and knowledgeable coaches will hone your cricket skills to perfection!

NOTE – both days must be booked

Swim Camp Ages 8 -13

15th April - 16th April

Could you be the next Adam Peaty? Training in our 25m heated indoor pool at Tockington Manor School, our dedicated and qualified swim coaches will work with you to improve your skills, technique and stamina. Sessions will be structured, but there will also be time to practice life saving skills as well as having some fun playing games such as torpedo and water polo.

*Please note that participants will need to be able to swim 100m front and 100m back confidently and unaided given the session content
